Girls are lured to California for ‘modeling’ interviews and then raped, filmed and blackmailed to perform whatever is asked by the producers.
STDs are rampant in the porn industry
Drugs, alcohol, abortions, self-hatred are normal parts of the actresses lives
Almost all porn actresses have suffered from sexual abuse earlier in life

When you consume porn, whether you pay for it or not, you are supporting pornographers and the treatment of these actresses.

My brother showed me this video today. It is a sad story about a 13 year old named Constance. She was sold to a pornographer for $6. He films her and makes sells the videos to guys who consume porn. If there was no money to be made he wouldn’t do it. We sit back behind out computer and enjoy these images, but the truth is this girl was not 18 as the website claimed and she was forced into performing. Not necessarily the lie we believe that she is an 18 year old nymphomaniac. Watching pornography creates demand. We are a part of the crime and victimization.

As we bid farewell to 2011, we all like to look back on the year and highlight what events, people and things most influenced us during the year.

I want to share with you some of my most favorite videos of 2011. These videos are well done and provide very useful information regarding pornography usage and addiction to pornography. I think they are a fair representation of the anti pornography issues.

Becoming an anti-porn activist is a nicely done roundtable discussion that shows what you can do to oppose pornography in your world. It features some guests that are already activists and they give you some great insight. Check it out.

My next favorite video is a first hand testimony of a man named Jon. Jon shares his first exposure to pornography, it’s effects that it had on his life, and how he quit using porn. I could truly relate to much of what Jon relayed via this video. Very Powerful. Watch here.
